The counselor has to increase the sales of the company in the form of admissions in classroom courses in their branch & in online courses. Interaction with online leads, Interaction with walk-Ins, Follow-Up to online leads till they convert, Follow-Up to walk-Ins till they convert, Maintain Excel sheet of all the enquiries, Motivate students to take admission in all courses provided by NIFM, Deposits of fees in banks and keep all the records in Excel, Update students to new Jobs, Conduct Interviews for students, Maintain Batch report of branch.
Duties of Counselor:
1. Follow up of pending admission related calls as per schedule and Maintain record
2. Make calls to new prospective students for admission and introduce candidates to NIFM
3. Resolving students issues on phone, if required
4. Perpetually update the database of prospective students.
5. Setting mutually agreed weekly/ monthly targets of calls to be made and generate new database.
6. Coordinate with faculty members and counselor to conduct orientation programme to promote business.
7. Maintain the attendance record of students and discuss the same with relevant faculty, if they are not regular.
8. Resolve fees payment in installments, if requested by students.
9. Coordinate with faculty and take feedback from the students with regard to the content of the course.
10. Understanding students problems and resolving their concerns and problems.
11. Help students in properly filling the enquiry forms.
12. To maintain register of other enquiries.
13. Fees collection and bookkeeping
14. Coordination with accounts for fees collection
15. To maintain contact with passed out students with regard to their placement, progress, career growth
16. Maintain NIFM Alumni database.
17. To give students proper information about the courses, contents and usefulness.
18. Help students in selection of course that meets his/her requirement. Persuade the students to join and enroll.
19. To maintain course wise record of actual admissions and fees collected
20. Introduction to faculty, if desired by the students.
21. Arrange demonstration classes for prospective students, if they ask for.
22. Fees Consideration, if requested by students.
23. Address other issues related to admissions
24. Resolve fees payment in installments, if requested by students.
25. Take confidential rating with regard to attitude of faculty & their quality of teaching, especially delivery of contents.
26. Help students in properly filling the admission forms.
27. To maintain register of enquires and admissions.
28. To maintain contact with passed out students with regard to their placement, progress, career growth
